With leading support from JPMorgan, iNTENT Manifesto launched in March 2018 to empower WOC founders and startups. We are transforming how we support, invest, and celebrate women of color (“WOC”) tech entrepreneurs. We know that women can solve big market/consumer problems, build and run healthy companies and attract top talent. Unfortunately, the majority of the public do not know this and as a result are not fully engaged in their success.
We are an intentional social campaign and investment education platform.
Our goal is to drive $1B in investment to WOC tech entrepreneurs around the world by 2028 - and we are excited to have you join us!
iNTENT Manifesto envisions a world where women of color and their communities are economically thriving. Building wealth gives communities power, and power gives them the opportunity to create lives that reflect their values and priorities. We believe this is a human right.
To get there iNTENT Manifesto approaches this work using three tools:
Storytelling - to amplify and increase the visibility of women of color entrepreneurs and investors
Workshops & Special Events - to educate women of color who want to increase their investment literacy
Network Building - to create connections and synergies between traditional investors and women of color entrepreneurs; and build a community of iNTENTORS dedicated to investing intentionally in women of color start ups
GAYLE JENNINGS O'BYRNE, FOUNDER AND CEO
After 20+ years of wall street, technology, philanthropy and policy, Gayle (Gay-lä) is embracing her female superpowers to amplify social change. Her boldest endeavor to date is launching in 2018 – iNTENT Manifesto, an education campaign and series of convenings and capacity building workshops to raise the visibility of women of color founders, the project hopes to create a self-sustainable solution that will empower women of color entrepreneurs and improve the communities they live in.
Inspired by the many women along her journey and the glaring financial market gaps, she aims to provide women of color tech entrepreneurs access to advocates, capital while helping the community access untapped value and create wealth alongside the fastest growing entrepreneurial sector.
